Online Daylong: “Only Suffering That Arises”
Join for a day of practice and dhamma via Upavana’s Zoom Meeting. Tahn Pamutto will host, giving reflections along the theme of ‘Only Suffering That Arises’. This phrase from the pāli canon encompasses the understanding of the enlightened ones: when we regard this body and mind, all that which we see arising and ceasing is just the reactions and resistance, the tension and clinging. As we let go this clinging ceases, and with it all our conceptions of self and other. Through mindfulness, we can awaken to this and realize for ourselves what it means to be liberated from suffering.
