Camping Weekend

The monastics already spend almost every night in tents at the edge of the forest, but that’s no reason not to enjoy the opportunity for a more traditional camping experience when the opportunity presents itself!

Just after Labor Day, Upavana will be heading into the Berkshires, to Savoy State Park and the base of Mt Greylock.  The current plan is to reserve some camping sites and devise a schedule of morning and evening gatherings with an early morning offering of food to allow for individual or group hiking, seclusion, or rest as desired.
